President
As president of Star-Lo Communications, I am committed to the continued success of our firm’s explosive growth, while ensuring our focus remains on treating customers and associates with integrity and concern. In essence, our team strives to build our business by building relationships. I am proud to be associated with the talented and dedicated group which comprises the Star-Lo family, and continue to believe a company is only as good as the quality of its people.
Beginning my career in telecommunications over 20 years ago, I started as an apprentice telephone systems installer technician. Through the years my career progressed from a technician foreman, to sales manager, and ultimately lead me into the position of Chief Operating Officer for one of New Jerseys largest telecom cabling contractors.
In 2004 I went on and found Star-Lo Communications with partners Kevin O’ Connor and Joseph Stark. I pride myself on remaining actively involved in all aspects of ongoing projects and always being accessible to our customers on matters both great and small.
Ron Nardone
Director of Field Operations
As Director of Field Operations, I apply my more than 20 years in the Telecommunications/Low Voltage industry to providing the highest level of service to my customers. My project experience ranges from minor tenant move and change work to forune 500 Corporate Headquarters. Oversight of manpower, material and coordination with other construction crafts, client and their integrator/vendors, from the beginning to end of the project is my top priority. I pride myself on serving and protecting my client while delivering a top quality product.
Mike Jenks
Senior Project Manager
As Senior Project Manager, I join Star-Lo Communications with 15+ years experience and extensive background knowledge delivering Structured Cabling, Security and Audio Visual solutions for Fortune 500 clients. Highly adept at managing complete lifestyles of service delivery including pre-sales engagement, definition, of requirements, cost estimatiing, proposals, design validations and execution.
Bob Connelly
Senior Project Manager
I have been in the telecommunications field for 30 years. Over the past 30 years I have serviced and maintained outside plants, including underground and arial wiring. My responsibilities have included outside splicing, development, activation of new plants and design as a line supervisor. (lineman) I joined the Star-Lo Team in 2006 where I have maintained and serviced continuous needs of our customers, data centers and critical space. As Project Manager, I oversee designated projects supporting my Foremen, oversee jobs and coordinate manpower. I interact with clients, vendors and trade contractors to make sure all their needs are met. I’ve been an active member of the IBEW for 30 years (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) and have completed all required apprenticeship programs.
Jose Lopez
Chief Estimator
As Chief Estimator, I have 26 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry. My knowledge encompasses many facets of our industry including Distribution, Sales, Estimating and Project Management.
I am knowledgeable in Audio Visual, Access Control, Nurse Call, Sound Masking, DAS and Structured Cabling, whereas, I exhibit a professional attitude and dedication on all projects.
Frank Decker
Project Manager
Frank Decker joined the Star-Lo Team in 2004 as a Project Manager and has been in the Telecommunications industry.
His responsibilities include:
- Daily management of projects, documentation (RFI’s, Submittals, Transmittals), coordination with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Clients, Architects, Engineers, Owners, Suppliers and installation technicians
- Track and maintain overall schedule for projects.
- Track progress against goals, objectives, timelines and budgets.
- Manage project team of Technicians, Foreman and Sub Foreman.
- Prepare / Submit project billing including AIA Schedules
- Implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
- Implement safety procedures.
- Review contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract terms.
- Maintain quality control (integrity and excellence of completed project).
- Complete all job close-out procedures and conduct warranty follow-up.
Justin Ingenito
Project Manager
As a member of the Star-Lo family, I bring more than a decade of combined practical, operational and executive experience of low voltage construction. I’m have hands-on, management and design experience in Audio Visual, Access Control, Nurse Call and Structured Network Cabling. I ‘m focused on delivering exceptional client service, and bringing your project to completion in a professional and effective way. I am an active member of the IBEW, and hold several trade and professional certifications. I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a B.A. in Communications. When I am not working, I enjoy volunteering and spending time with my family.
